The claim that the World Economic Forum (WEF) used the COVID-19 pandemic to reverse nationalism that surface in the aftermath of the 2007-2009 Great recession. There is no question that the 2007-2009 Great Recession totally upended the WEF’s agenda of moving toward a one world government. The global fragmentation and nationalist tensions did indeed intensify in the years following the 2008 financial crisis.

On the WEF and COVID-19 as a Unifying Force

The WEF was highly active during the pandemic, as I have said before, I believe that the COVID-19 Pandemic was orchestrated suggesting it was engineered to use this crisis in a desperate attempt to reverse the rise of nationalism. I had info that Schwab inform friends before anyone heard of a virus that it was coming. I believe they expected the stock market to crash, and I further believe that the WEF sold off much of its stock holding. Moreover, the lockdowns were also intended to address climate change as this video suggests. The WEF’s efforts were framed as a direct response and sought to take advance of the pandemic to end the fragmentation that emerged from the 2007-2009 Great Recessi0on.

The WEF was prepared forming a COVID-19 response platform virtually immediately. In early 2020, the WEF used its network to launch an “action platform” that brought together officials and business leaders to share experiences and coordinate the fight against the pandemic.

Focusing on recovery: The WEF’s 2021 agenda was themed “Building the Foundations for a Great Reset” and focused on how the world could recover from the pandemic. The emphasis was all about trust and cooperation. A major “Davos Agenda” dialogue in early 2021 was centered on “Steering Through This Critical Year and Rebuilding Trust,” highlighting the need for global cooperation to overcome the pandemic’s economic and social fallout.

The WEF’s actions were a direct response to the pandemic, using its convening power to foster collaboration to address a global emergency, which appeared to have the benefit to manipulate a political trend. Larry Fink and BlackRock’s public push on ESG (environmental, social, and governance). They used the pandemic to accelerate a trend that that tried to get going previously with strong headwinds. They tried to start it as part of the unification goals toward this one world government that had emerging at the WEF.

In his January 2020 letter, Fink, just before the pandemic’s global impact, made his most forceful declaration yet, stating that climate risk is investment risk and that sustainability would become a “new standard” for BlackRock’s investing approach. However, after the COVID-19 Pandemic, Fink himself noted that it had intensified the conversation around climate risk and ESG, making it clear that the crisis had not halted the shift but rather accelerated the reallocation of capital into sustainable strategies.

Schwab UNThe WEF framed its post-pandemic initiative, the “Great Reset,” as a call for international cooperation to build a more equitable and sustainable global economy. The core of the WEF’s pandemic-era agenda was the “Great Reset,” launched in July 2020. Its stated goal was to use the crisis as a “window of opportunity” to reform global capitalism, addressing issues like inequality, climate change, and the fragility of supply chains.

he central idea was that greater global collaboration, even pushing for the World Health Organization to dictate to the world surrendering their sovereignty to the United Nations. Schwab pushed for Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to head the WHO. The United Nations was to become the central government of the world and the WHO was to have dictatorial power over disease, lock-downs, and declare what was a pandemic.

President Trump took a clear action to reject the WHO’s authority over U.S. health decisions by initiating a formal withdrawal from the World Health Organization. On his first day in office during his second term (January 20, 2025), President Trump signed Executive Order 14155 to begin the process of withdrawing the United States from the WHO.

    Schwab WEF End of Democracy

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in made his sentiment clear at the 2023 WEF gathering, stating that our world was “plagued by a perfect storm” with “the gravest levels of geopolitical division and mistrust in generations.” UN Secretary-General António Guterres has argued that governments should submit to the UN to secure unification and prevent nationalism. His public statements called for strengthening multilateral cooperation among sovereign states. His central theme is the urgent need to reform and strengthen the UN system to address global challenges like climate change and conflict. He has been a critic of nationalism: Guterres sees nationalism as a significant obstacle to solving global problems. He stated that the COVID-19 pandemic “poured accelerant on the fires of nationalism, stalling progress on development and climate action.” For him, nationalism hinders the international cooperation and that is the role of the UN.

A 2026 analysis of the WEF noted that the forum’s traditional economic focus had been eclipsed by “political fissures,” with leaders like Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney warning of a “rupture in the world order.” This confirms a widespread perception of a fragmented world where nationalist and protectionist policies were a major concern, which is the exact opposite of the WEF’s policy that you will own nothing and be happy (Schwab’s Resurrection of Communism).

Evidence has strengthened that COVID-19 may have resulted from a laboratory-associated accident, but it still has not been conclusively proved. I knew it was coming, told my family do not get vaccinated. I changed doctors and found one who asked if I was vaccinated, I said NO! and she responded GOOD!

The CIA announced in January 2025 that it regarded a research-related origin as more likely than natural animal transmission, but explicitly assigned “low confidence” because the evidence remained incomplete or contradictory. The FBI had earlier favored a laboratory incident with moderate confidence.

However, the WHO’s self-interested independent scientific panel reported in June 2025 that the available scientific evidence still leaned toward animal-to-human transmission, while emphasizing that a laboratory accident could NOT be excluded.

Then there is the question of Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner’ involvement in arranging a COVID-19 vaccine. Kushner became involved initially overseeing efforts to obtain tests, protective equipment and other supplies. In spring 2020, he was also involved in White House discussions about accelerating vaccine development through what became Operation Warp Speed.

The first US vaccine candidate entered human trials after Chinese scientists published the virus’s genetic sequence in January 2020. The rapid development turned to developing mRNA technology and coronavirus-vaccine platforms for diseases such as SARS and MERS. Kushner later pressured Pfizer regarding how its doses should be allocated once the vaccine was approaching authorization in late 2020.

Bottom line remains. A lab “accident” is now a serious, credible possibility. That does not reconcile with what I was told in advance.  It is clear that the WEF and many global leaders advocated for increased cooperation during and after the pandemic to counteract fragmentation and promote unity. COVID-19 was conveniently exploited to try to get the WEF back to its agenda of promoting a one-world government.
