When Anthony helped his dad find the right senior living community for his grandmother, he saw firsthand how “emotional and overwhelming the journey can be for families,” he told Franchising.com. The experience led Anthony and his wife, Angela, to franchise with CarePatrol, a senior care placement service. The couple now operates two locations across North Central and East Ohio, and is nine years into franchising.

Success running two units at once, the Colemans say, comes down to building strong systems and trusting a well-trained team. They focus on hiring the right people, maintaining consistent training and tracking performance so every family gets the same level of care regardless of location.

Their advice for anyone considering a personal-service franchise: make sure the motivation is genuine. “If you are truly energized by the idea of providing a meaningful, impactful service, this is an incredible industry to invest in,” Anthony said.
