The Marines have been defaced and vandalized in Memphis, Tennessee. Somebody posted an offensive message on a recruitment billboard in downtown the opposite day.

The billboard featured a photograph of a Marine with the query: “What do Marines Battle For?”

Somebody plastered the signal with a response: “The possibility to feed Mexicans to alligators.” A neighborhood tv station urged the vandalism had been dedicated by a pro-illegal alien group.

The message is a reference to the Florida immigration detention middle named “Alligator Alcatraz.”

“I feel it’s fairly crass and derogatory in direction of the Marines,” motorist Jim Kinney instructed tv station WMC. “The US navy is right here for us and our safety, not for vulgarity.”

Simply noticed this billboard yesterday. I do not suppose they perceive that the vandalization will in all probability enhance recruitment for anybody contemplating being a marine 😂 pic.twitter.com/M5gnOat2Jg

The issue is that some Memphians actually thought the Marines have been hiring People to feed Mexicans to alligators.

One man saying that he was particularly disturbed as a result of many Marines are of Mexican heritage.

For the file, Marines are usually not feeding illegals to alligators in south Florida – or wherever else for that matter. However the rumor is that some gators do have a keenness for salsa.
